British Airways — Icon test
Creative agency BBH London commissioned us, under their guidance, to create an icon system for UK’s leading airline: British Airways.
We based our work in the same reference that was used for BA’s logo construction, the Union Jack. Cutting the icons’ lines, as the flag does, we achieved the sensation of layers, while giving the whole family coherence and recognisability.
Icons can be used in a single colour, working both in positive and negative versions. Following the airline’s brand guidelines, BA Blue is the preferred option.
Two colour version use BA’s blue and red. The proportion of these two colours also follow BA’s brand guidelines, with red being only used in small details.
